About Us


ISRAM (Institute for Sports Research and Applied Mathematics) was founded in the spring of 2003 to pursue applied mathematics in sports research and probabilities. ISRAM is dedicated to defining and calculating playoff probabilities of all NFL (National Football League) teams. This site allows the true NFL fan to follow their favorite teams throughout the season and track their progress in successfully making the post season playoffs. This site would not be possible without the dedication and contribution of ISRAM's original founders. Their vision and passion to truly represent the NFL playoff picture is evident throughout the site. The following is a brief synopsis of their varied backgrounds and experience.

 
  • BS in Computer Science and Minor in Math
  • BA in Computer Systems Analysis and Masters of Business Administration
  • BS in Chemical Engineering, Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering, Master of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and PhD in Aerospace Engineering
  • Broad computer science experience including working in the 3D animation industry creating 3D simulation software, working with computer language Software Company developing compilers, interpreters, and other developer tools, and developing computer telephony software for a number of customers
  • Work experience in the computer graphics industry. Developed 2-D and 3-D scientific visualization and geometric modeling programs and authored NEWTUN, a 3-D Computational Fluid Dynamics program, which has won supercomputer awards from IBM and Cray Research, Inc.
  • Developed software and managed large software projects for the utility, health care and semi conductor industries.
  • Founder of a software company dedicated to developing affordable websites and business applications for small business.
